For sale is my Vasama, no.48 of 56. Built
around 1964 and been at this club since.
1147 hours.
I bought this last year as a fun recommission
project, but have decided with its rarity that
it's better off going to someone who can really
appreciate it, and give it the attention it
needs.
Overall in good condition having been
repainted a few years ago. Needs some
retouching inside, and a few cosmetic jobs, as
well as a new panel fitting. I've got the actual
panel in CNC'd aluminium, so it would be a
case of picking your instruments and plumbing
it in. Last flew around 2018.
1991 fibreglass Trailer has been stripped back
and repainted (photo shows before new
paint). Nice and waterproof with epoxy paint,
but I can't guarantee it's roadworthy as it
hasn't moved in a few years. Looks solid
underneath, though.
Cutting-edge, award-winning glider for its day.
