I am looking for a reduction drive (ratio 2.85 to 1) for my next single seat helicopter project.

The unit I am after was originally made by Ross aero in the USA, it has been used on engines such as Subra flat 4, however this unit is no long available, see the attached pic

I believe a similar set up was made by Tracy Cooks Real World Solutions PSRU (Propeller Speed Reduction Unit) which was mounted to a Mazda rotary, Tracy is now retired.

The major parts for this sun planetary and ring gear system was taken from an automatic gearbox as use in the superduty ford diesel (E40D) low range planetary in the USA, does anybody have this auto box in the uk ?

Can any body offer me parts for a sun planetary and ring gear system to achieve a ratio close to 2.85 to 1.
