Zenair Colomban MC12 CriCri kit: SOLD.
If unsold by May 1st 2018 this will be listed for auction on Ebay. Watch for the Ebay listing!
A part-finished CriCri MC12 kit by Zenair. PFA (LAA) project registration number: 133-10853
Completed: Horizontal and vertical stabilisers, rudder, ribs attached to wing spar.
Zenair provided the wing carry through frame and wing spars professionally completed.
Parts to complete from original kit including, but not limited to, all materials, fuselage panels pre-flanged, klegecell foam components pre-cut, undercarriage bow, many pre-formed components, all tip and nose fairings, canopy, wheels etc. No engines although thanks to the large model aircraft world there are now many possible options. Many more parts and components than shown in the images. The Zenair inventory is present and is available in exchange for an email address to which to send it.
The kit comes with a full set of Colomban drawings, manuals and correspondence including letters from Michel Colomban. The Zenair kit included several pages of modifications to the original design which are of questionable merit so it is best to regard this as a good starting point for a build to Colomban standards and to ignore the Zenair amendments. The Light Aircraft Association can advise.
Original kit price was $5980 Canadian (in 1982). Open to offers
Located on the UK south coast. Strictly buyer collects, this would be a challenge to ship and I cannot afford to spend time packing it for shipment.
