This oil filter adapter have been developed to suit Cubs that have engines with a transvers muffler, will also fit similar aircraft engine layouts.

This Adapter mounts directly on to the rear case of the Continental A65, A75 C85-8 and C90-8 engines
Can be installed with Slick mags and later Bendix mags (S4RSC-21)
but not the eariler Bendix mags (S4RN-21) due to the large nut on the P lead.

The oil filter adapter is approved by the LAA (Mod 14961)
Can be fitted to your aircraft via the LAA TADS document (E05 Section 3.2)
Just install and get your inspector to sign it off in the aircraft log.

There is a tapped 5/8unf hole in the end of the unit to mount your oil temperature fitting and sensor.

No need to remove the oil temperature sensor any more at oil change.

For reference Airwolf Corp remote filter kit weighs in about 5 lbs at a cost of $600 and far more leak paths.
