One of three IO320 Rutan Long-EZ in the UK. 'MF' is a fantastic example of a much loved long-EZ. Upgraded to glass cockpit, the IO-320 160hp driving a Hertzler prop- this aircraft can cruise at up to 160kts IAS on less than 30ltrs of fuel per hr. MF is certified for 1600lbs MTOW allowing 2 large adults and enough fuel for 4hrs flight @150kts with reserves. The performance is simply excellent, effectively twin performance on a single engine. Range with full tanks is 750nm, it'll fly from Perth Scotland to Paris in one go. MF is equipped with 2-axis Autopilot, twin Dynon D10's , Garmin GTX328 mode S transponder, Trig TY96 VHF radio, Whelen Strobe and is fitted with the electrical nose gear lift upgrade.

The sale includes a plethora of parts to support MF going forward including a spare canopy, and featherlire prop among much more.

The lycoming IO320 had a complete overhaul conducted by the previous owner and a lycoming engineering specialist circa 9 years ago, all receipts and worksheets documenting this will be supplied with the aircraft. The engine doesn't miss a beat. MF comes with excellent supporting records/documentation and even the original builders plans.
