Lovely Reims Cessna 172 for sale
Fitted with a Rolls Royce Continental 300D overhauled and zero timed 3rd June 2014, the engine now has 370hrs on it (currently being used). The engine is in-time and well within hours for commercial use.
Just back from ARC and Annual with Vision Aerospace at Turweston, next ARC due 28th August 2025.
She is a joy. Young family and wife who struggles with motion sickness means she is very underused – selling is hard but sensible decision.
She's be very well looked after. Since I've owned her she's had all-round LED lights and strobes, new wingtips – work done by Vision Aerospace. She's fitted with a Garmin GMA 342 Intercom, and a GNC 255a Nav/Com. USB changing points. She's in a nice clean condition.
She's very light compared to later 172's, as a result her performance is much better than many other models. Cessna say fuel burn is 26 ltr per hr in cruise, I think 28-30 ltr per hr is more realistic – and very good. Her empty weight is 604KG, MTOW of 1043KG giving 439KG of useful load – so she is a proper 4 person aeroplane.
She's brilliant.
