A very well cared for and equally well-equipped 1967 Piper PA-28-140 / 160 Cherokee. Just completed a £20k avionics upgrade and annual. Aircraft is an ideal hour builder with all the equipment you need to make long range cross country trips a breeze.
Particularly well equipped for its age, the aircraft benefits from fully functioning STEC 30 Alt autopilot (Heading & Altitude hold) coupled to the Bendix King 525 HSI. Managing the engine is aided with a FC-10 fuel computer and Electronics International EGT and CHT temperature gauges.
All SB’s and AD’s complied with and no corrosion anywhere.
Flies beautifully at 85 kts with 23 litres / hour fuel burn.
New exhaust and muffler fitted this year.
With 1600 hours to run on the engine and all the upgrades, this aircraft ensures there will be no large bills coming for a very long time.
