The Falcon Gliding Group has a share for sale in its T61F Venture G-BUIH. The monthly charge is £55 and flying charges are £30 per hour wet, engine off time is free as are all home base landings, this is very low cost flying in a two seat aircraft. This long established (Est.1980) group is financially stable and based at EGBW in its own purpose built hangar with access to two hard runways for all year round use. India Hotel is in excellent condition and is without doubt one of the best Venture's in the country.
India Hotel was the first Venture T61F to be transferred from the BGA to the Light Aircraft Association in 2019 and is now operated on the LAA Permit to Fly system. The engine was replaced in 2019 with a fully rebuilt unit which today has less than 200 hours SMOH due to covid lockdowns. The aircraft is 8.33 equipped with a panel mount TQ KRT2 radio and a backup ICOM IC - A25CE handheld with David Clarke headsets, ADSB in/out is provided by SkyEcho 2 and twin strobes are fitted for additional safety. The groups assets include healthy bank balance, the aircraft, the hangar and a large stock of spares and equipment. We have also retained our original engine for future overhaul.
The Falcon Gliding Group's aim is to provide safe and economical flying to syndicate members through the ownership and operation of its aircraft.
Interested parties should be fully qualified pilots with a minimum of 100 hours P1 preferably with a TMG rating. Pilots wishing to gain a motorglider rating will be considered subject to conditions set out in the groups operating rules.
