The plane is owned and operated by Oldbus Limited, a VAT Registered limited company, set up to protect members' investments. The company operates as a private flying group, run voluntarily for the benefit of the shareholders. It is organised with the aim of funding all planned expenditure from a combination of monthly subscriptions and hourly flying (wet) rates. Day to day operations are handled by volunteers. An £98.40 monthly charge covers hanger space, insurance, maintenance, and the reserves cover engine replacement, upgrades, repaint etc. Flying time is currently £136.25 per hour wet which reflects the recent increases in fuel prices.

Members have typically been flying between 5 and 35 hours per year depending on their individual needs. The aeroplane is used for pleasure flying, UK travel, and foreign trips, the furthest having been to the Canaries.
