A share is available in the British Caledonian Airways liveried G-CHIP, a 1982 PA28-181 Archer II hangered at Shoreham and operated by Golden Lion Aviation Ltd.
The aircraft has recently had a bare metal respray and partial new interior. It benefits from a Garmin 530, Mode S transponder, 8.33radio, single axis autopilot, VOR, DME, ADF etc.
It has less than 3,200 hours on the airframe and less than 1,400 hours on the engine.
Availability via an online booking system is good and pilots are encouraged to go touring. There is no minimum usage requirement whilst away.
The 1/7th share costs £10,000. There is a monthly charge of £125 and an hourly wet rate, based on the Hobbs Meter of £160. Rates are subject to VAT. Flying is invoiced at the end of each month.
