We have slots in our non-equity group for our DHC-1 Chipmunk based in Oxfordshire. It’s a very small group of experienced Chipmunk pilots, and aircraft availability is excellent. The aircraft is in superb condition and is a real head-turner at fly-ins. It was fully re-covered and re-painted after recent replacement of spar tie bar and inserts, its rebuilt zero-hour engine has only a few hours running in time on it, It’s based on a private grass airstrip, with easy hangar access. Group pilots must have 100+ hours tail dragger P1 including some hours in Chipmunks.
