I am a student pilot, based at lee on Solent, and having already looked at Piper PA20 Colt, Piper Tomahawk, i believe that Cherokee 140 is the perfect trainer.

Buying my first plane having only just started my training is the way forward, but every plane i view goes just slighty over budget each time. by either VAT element or high frame hours or high engine hours,. No Shares. looking for someone retiring from flying that's owned the same aircraft for years would be ideal.

I would also consider Cessna 150, but do prefer low wing, or Socata 150 also considered if at the right price.
