The Yaesu FTA450 Airband Transceiver, along with the PA200 2-place intercom system, is a handheld radio communication device designed for use in aviation. Specifically built for airband communication, this Yaesu model provides reliable communication for pilots. The PA200 intercom system allows for clear communication between two individuals within the aircraft.
I've now upgraded to a fully installed system in my Microlight and this handheld is surplus to requirements. All you need to do is add headsets and PTT buttons of your choice, and away you go.
It is supplied with a 12v charger lead and the battery pack is an empty container that can hold 6 x AA batteries. There is no mains charger and also no rechargeable battery pack, but as long as you have 12v in your aircraft, this will work perfectly.
