Brake Discs for Aircraft types: £225.00 for the pair.

Aeronca Champs, Chiefs, L16's and some Luscombes. Third Party manufactured and sold in pairs as a direct replacement for Goodyear Part Number: 9530292.

Discs are Brand New and have never been installed.

Manufactured from Stainless Steel so cannot Rust or become Pitted..

I have these fitted to my Aeronca Champ and they are so much stronger than the originals and perform so much better than the originals.

Here is the dimension of the disc, to replace part no: 9530292 . 8 and a quarter inches wide (210mm). 5 and a half inches internal (140mm) x 1/8" (3mm) thick

Please check these dimensions against your old discs, there are many different part numbers offered on the Internet that state they are for Aeronca and Luscombe etc at a very low cost, I am certain they mean well but without direct experience with Goodyear Discs say on an Aeronca Champ or Luscombe they may have it wrong, and I have seen this so many times. Please do not buy anything else but this part number even if advertised to fit Aeronca or Luscombe as they will not fit.

These are so very very rare now, please Google the net and you will see that availability for new is non existant, so it is a good idea to hold a set as spare. If your existing discs show any sign of pitting they will be weakened and they need to be replaced, there is a risk of the disc buckling and locking up between the Anvil and Puck resulting in a locked wheel on landing and a very quick 90 degree exit off the runway.
