Lycoming 0360 (180HP) engine stripped for inspection and with serviceable crankcase and solid crankshaft both checked for zero houring. Engine removed from damaged airframe (hangar collapse) and ran with makers oil pressure. All components available for zero hour rebuild. Crankcase could be used for VP installation. Solid crank is very strong with no ongoing corrosion issues. Two fixed pitch props also available. This engine has been stripped checked by an overhaul shop and the components NDT for zero houring. The crankcase and crank have passed the tests for zero houring and therefore are ready for ongoing use. The solid crank is not prone to corrosion hub issues plus ideal for fixed pitch/aerobatic capability. The crankcase can be used for either fixed or VP prop.
