ARTEX ME406 Emergency Locator Transmitter removed from my UK storm damaged aircraft in February 2022.

Battery was replaced and unit re-certified in 2015. Battery still has loads of power and unit can be self tested.
Recommended new battery every seven years - was due July 2022.

For total peace of mind the 406 automatically activates during a crash and transmits the standard swept tone on 121.5 MHz. Also, the unit turns on and transmits an encoded digital message to the Cospas/Sarsat satellite system.

Comes with mounting tray, whip aerial and armed activation buzzer.
