We now have two spaces available in our 152 group. The aircraft G-BSFR is a lovely little 152 which is rented out to group members at ?85 per hour wet. We also charge ?30 per month to cover insurance and airport parking. The group aims to break even and it does not have any paid staff or make a profit. The bookings are made online, and availability is excellent. We are much more lenient than the flying clubs regarding bookings for trips away.
Members will be billed for flying at the end of each month. (A ?450 deposit will be required, which will be returned when you leave the group and your account is cleared. We simply require one months notice from the start of the month if leaving. Members do not have the hassle of trying to sell shares etc, and they are not responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft. In essence you have all the advantages of group ownership without the financial commitments.
