I am regrettably selling my 1949 Vintage Piper Clipper Project.

Grab yourself a cheap vintage taildragger ready for some stick and rudder flying in the Spring!
The 4 seat 2+2 side by side taildragger with a stick was only manufactured by Piper as the ‘Clipper' for one year in 1949 before being renamed as the Pacer.
This Clipper has the larger 0-320 150hp STC

This is a project. The aircraft fuselage is sound. Fabric is in good condition with the exception of flaking paint on one undercarriage leg.

The main work this project needs to complete is the engine:
There is an O-320-E3D included in the sale that is low time but needs rebuilding. I have a newly overhauled crank with paperwork (worth £4000) included in this sale. The crankcase is serviceable (£2000). The engine needs a camshaft, followers, conrods (available separately). Cylinders may be used or new ones fitted. There is an overhauled Prop included (£2000). There is an engine shop on the airfield ready to rebuild the engine.They can be contacted for more information.
This will make a lovely vintage aircraft and an easy project for someone with the time and money to invest in rebuilding her.
Viewing available and inspection welcomed. There is an independant LAA inspector based on the airfield if required. (Viewer to arrange)
