aircraft-for-sale/for-saleDescription:
I am putting my trusty Xair standard with 582 bluetop up for sale. Lovely aircraft and a delight to fly, TK is maintained and permitted by Chris Theakston at CT Aviation for me. This is the ideal aircraft for someone about to complete their training or who's recently obtained their licence as it will come with everything ready to fly. I've enjoyed every minute of flying TK and after 4 years will miss him but I've decided it's time to move on to something else.
Built 2002, total airframe hours 436, engine hours 347.
The engine was rebuilt for the previous owner by FLY365 in 2013 and had a full overhaul including a crankshaft kit from Skydrive at 220 hours. The aircraft was refurbished prior to my purchase from Mark Jones at Galaxy Microlights. I had a full 100 hour engine and gearbox service carried out by CT Aviation when I got TK in 2014 to baseline the service record.
The aircraft has full paperwork for all mods, water jacket carb heat, and is permitted to April 2019.
TK is always kept hangered under a full set of Ace Aviation heavy duty covers (which will come with the aircraft) and I treat the dacron skins twice yearly with Nik Wax UV protect. Average fuel consumption is about 12-13ltrs per hour solo, 15-17ltrs per hour dual.
Recently had top end and gearbox service done (12 hours ago) by CT Aviation.
Aircraft comes with Icom A6E 833 radio, RAM Tablet mount, Lynx intercom with 2xLynx headsets, mains charger for headsets and I have a set of wheel spats which were originally on the aircraft but I removed.
Hours will continue to rise (slightly) as I fly it.
Price £4950 ono.
