Unused GRP spinner dome made by Slingsby for their Nipper production - see label.
Base dia is 240mm, height 190mm including 30mm parallel sided at the base. Weight is 245gms.
It has suffered minor damage in storage. There is a T shaped crack about 30mm x 30mm starting from the point. It doesn't penetrate fully, still very rigid to thumb pressure and not depressed, but delamination is visible inside. I think it just needs some resin infusing into the crack and a bit of rubbing down on the outside but I am hopeless at composite work and won't attempt it!
The curved black lines are the edges of the numerous pieces with which it's rather beautifully laid up.
