Grey top short block Rotax 582 for sale. Engine serviceable and removed my Thruster on 5/7/20. Engine was last run when we flew the aircraft on 24/6/20. Engine runs well, but I am putting a newer BlueTop 582 on it. Engine will be sold with carbs and B-Type 2.58:1 B-Type gearbox. No electric start, radiators and exhaust as the will be remaining with the aircraft to fit to the new engine
Total hours 507,
77 hours since engine was stripped and inspected, new crank, seals, pistons rings and gaskets and carbs balanced. I have had a quick look at the piston crowns and the cylinder wall through the exhaust manifold and it's all lovely and clean inside.
Sorry about the upside down pics, it doesn't seem to matter what I do with them on this site they always end up inverted!
