There are many options for tying down aircraft but these are a decent option for lightweight aircraft such as SSDR and other flexwings with little storage space. Originally sold by air-camp in their Rootsystem setup I believe they are no longer available.
There are three devices with angled holes, each with 4 aluminium Alpkit stakes that are driven into the ground at angles to each other through each device. Nylon cords or whatever then connect them to the wings and engine or whatever suits.
When packed together with the retaining strap the whole unit measures 26cm x 6cm x 7.5cm and weighs 800gm

Alpkit quote about these 9"stakes.'They are tough enough to nail into breeze blocks, so most French campsites should be okay'. Sounds optimistic to me (I've reinforced the end caps with Araldite should you clout them hard at an angle) but they are particularly effective in hard ground as is often the case when touring in France for example. These stakes are also suitable for tents or whatever and new ones cost about £2 each.
