Kolb Twinstar Mk 3 Classic, easy to fly two seat side by side microlight, renowned for it's unrivalled visibility. The aircraft has a full easy fold wing system which takes about 20 mins to rig and is a huge bonus when space is limited. Built in 1998, the aircraft has had 2 previous owners. I purchased the aircraft in Jan 2009 and completed an 18 month programme of updates and improvements which included changing the engine from a Hirth to a Rotax, fitting dual throttles and reducing the flap deflection angle. To date, this aircraft has only completed a total of 87 hrs on the airframe and 250 hours on the replacement engine (22 hours since a full engine strip and rebuild by Ecclestone Aviation).

The aircraft has been hangared since I took ownership and can be manouvred easily using a special dolly. A tailor made trailer/hangar comes with the aircraft for an alternative means of storage and can be easily loaded/unloaded using the electric winch (battery not supplied).

I am selling the aircraft due to increased work commitments that have resulted in limited time for flying and what time I have, can be better utilised flying my flexwing!! Price reduced due to new aircraft arriving sooner than planned and I need the space in the hangar.
