Description:

Squadron was an American ultralight company later taken over by Loehle Aircraft USA. This Se5a ultralight was imported from the USA by Grass Strip Aviation in the UK.
It was registered with the CAA on the 8th July 2020 as an SSDR registration, G-CLOY, and has full authorisation to carry the military paint scheme and an exemption from carrying civilian registration marks.

Powered by a Cuyuna ULII 2-stroke ultralight engine with less than 10 hours. Details here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuyuna_430
Ideal for flying around early mornings and still evenings with very low operating costs.
Built at 3/4 scale

This aircraft has been recently recovered and is in tidy condition. Wings can be removed for transport in 1/2 hour. They can stay together as a pair on each side; it takes about 1hour to fit them again. Needs a firewall added under the fuel tank as its a bit drafty in the cockpit, but otherwise all the jobs are done. Tidy in appearance. Now needs a new owner. Based in Bedfordshire.
