Description
The reluctant sale of N7456P presents a fantastic opportunity for the right buyer - this is one of the best Piper Comanche's available to buy, with the STC list offering staggering viewing.
N7456P is a 1961 PA24-250, fitted with main, auxillary and tip tanks, giving a fuel load of 120 gallons. Giving a range of 1200 miles at 150 knots - all whilst being capable of flying in and out of 400M grass strips, very few aircraft on the market will be capable of that statement. The aircraft came from the states modified heavily, standout additions being a Fuel injected I0-540 replacing the factory carbureted O-540. The McCauley 3 blade propeller was fitted new in 2018 and gives the aircraft real ramp presense. Speed brakes, Rajay twin turbochargers, Arapaho high vision windscreen and almost every speed kit available for the PA24 are notable mentions on the STC list.
Avionics wise, N7456P is headlined with a Garmin GTN750, with remote transponder and audio panel incorporated - the ability to split the com's is a real blessing when flying through busy airspace at such speeds that the aircraft can provide. A Garmin 430 provides backup and a Bendix king ADF & DME provide full airways capability - the STEC 55x autopilot being fully coupled to the 750 makes cross continent flying hands-free.
