Description

Two-seat Helton Lark 95 on an LAA Permit to Fly. This elliptical-winged rare classic is the fixed-undercarriage version of Al Mooney and Walter Beech's Culver Cadet, the only one outside of the USA. A fly-in crowd pleaser!
Total Time 908 hrs on airframe and Continental C90 engine. Hercules propeller. B&C lightweight starter and alternator. Tempest Spin-on oil filter adapter mod. Top overhaul @ 685 hrs in 2015. Included TCM cylinders, new baffles, seals, hoses and repainted engine mount. Mags overhauled Jan 2024. Trig transponder and radio with aux audio input socket. Pilot Aware Classic (wired to Trig for audio alerts). Panel mounted intercom and Skymap IIIC GPS. LED position lights and Microburst tail strobe.
90-95 Kts cruise at 20 ltr/hr, on 100LL or UL91. 70 ltr tank. Payload 504 lbs / 228 kg, with 50 lb (22kg) baggage bay capacity.
Comes with towbar, Cambrai outdoor canopy cover, CO detector, Fire Safety Stick, spares. Lovingly maintained and cared for with full service history - right back to the letter from the FAA authorising the permit to test!

She is very selective of her pilots though, as the seats and pedals are not adjustable. Leg length is the limiting factor, probably in the range 28-34 inches (trouser inside length) for comfort on longer trips. Come and try her on for size!

Permit under renewal to July 2027.

Based at Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green.
