For Sale:- Much loved Luscombe 8F Silvaire Master £49,950
Built in1949 as a Luscombe Silvaire Master and fitted in 1953 with a Mc Kenzie conversion of an Lycoming O-290-D2 135/145 Engine.
Engine totally stripped for inspection, Cylinders found to be recently O/H ,Mags 500 Hr. Inspection carried out Carburretor reconditioned, New light weight Starter fitted,70 Amp Lightweight Alternator & electronic control box fitted.
Remote mounted Air Wolf Full flow Oil filter fitted.
Recondition Sensenich Metal prop Fitted.
Flaps retro fitted i.a.w .Luscombe drawings .
Hydraulic Disc Brake conversion designed and fitted, retaining the original heel brakes.
All Airframe & Engine hoses replaced. All Engine controls replaced.
Airframe Painted in 1949 Silvaire Master colour scheme ,[Bare metal strip and painted in 2 pack Silver and Maroon].
Custom made Lap and Diagonal Inertia reel seatbelts installed to match Interior Colour.
Interior refurbished with Cessna individual seat mod and interior refurbished in Leather/ Vynel.
All instruments replaced or overhauled Trig 8.33 and Trig XPR fitted ,Narco Nav 122 glide slope/marker beacon/vor/ fitted. Garmin 495,EGT ,CHT and carb temp gauge fitted .All wiring replaced all switches replaced inc key start magneto switch.
All tyres replaced.
All control cables replaced, Luscombe Foundation “Featherlight” conversion fitted [all Aileron cables replaced with bearing pulleys].
All transparencies replaced.
Combined wing tip strobes fitted ,Position lamps LED, LED Landing & Taxi Lamps fitted, Belly Strobe fitted.
Pitot static system completely replaced, heated Pitot mast &Emergency alternate static port added.
