Description

This iconic 1970 homebuilt, featured in flight tests in Popular Flying in 1971 and Light Aviation in 2020, is now available to make room for our next aircraft.

TT 1830. Major airframe refurb 2019, 300 Hrs since. Engine 1834 VW with Leburg ignition, 300 hours since complete overhaul.

She was the subject of a comprehensive and very well documented refurbishment which came to fruition in 2019, which included the installation of a completely overhauled 1834cc VW with Leburg ignition, which ensures easy starting.

I have flown her for 300 hours since acquiring her in 2019, and have landed at 37 different airfields and strips. Short field performance is excellent, but she still manages to cruise at 60-65 knots burning 13-14 liters an hour. This epitomises affordable fun flying.

With a Permit to April 2026, she has excellent records back to her original construction.
