Description
An exceptionally well maintained and extensively refurbished Robin DR400/180.
This aircraft combines excellent touring performance with superb visibility and impressive short field capability. Benefitting from significant refurbishment over recent years including a full Garmin IFR avionics suite, complete rewire, refurbished leather interior, low time propeller and extensive mechanical investment throughout ownership.
Garmin Avionics, including:
Dual Garmin G5’s (AI & HSI) linked with OAT probes for winds aloft calculations integrated via GAD interface;
Garmin GPS175 IFR Navigator (WAAS/RNP approach capable & fully integrated with G5 system);
Garmin GNC255 Nav/Com (VOR/ILS Capability, Glideslope displayed on G5 HSI);
Garmin GTX355 Mode-S Transponder with ADS-B Out;
Garmin audio panel with Bluetooth connectivity;
Garmin GDL55 ADS-B In Stratux/PilotAware compatibility for additional traffic input;
Front & Rear USB Charging Points
The engine whilst 1550hrs +/- run time on paper has undergone significant work over a period of time including:
Crank, Cranckcase and Cam replaced at 1331hrs (236 hrs since bottom end rebuild);
Starter replaced;
Both magnetos replaced;
Carburettor replaced;
Fuel pump replaced;
In terms of Engine monitoring, the aircraft has been fitted with Aerospace Logic digital engine instruments, including: Volts/Amps, Oil Pressure & Temp, CHT’s & Fuel Tank Monitoring (no more pesky robin fuel gauges!)
The propeller has circa 90hrs +/- run time.
The aircraft is in excellent condition, hangared and maintained to a very high standard. The only thing that would perhaps benefit from some attention is the paint work, but had the aircraft been the subject of a respray it would undoubtedly now be in ‘better than new’ condition throughout.
