Description
£8000 OBO. Corby Starlet CJ1.
Widely regarded as class leader of the VW single seaters. Superb handling and performance.
Excellent build quality and finish
LAA & CAA registered. Plans, build manual and masses of paperwork.
Very complete kit including aerodux adhesive to finish and colour dope.
Fuselage and tail all covered and finished in insignia white
1834 VW leburg ignition, Dehl alternator case incl starter (new with project)
All build stages signed off except wing assembly and engine commissioning.
Main spar signed off (the tricky bit).
Featherweight grp cowling, wingtip and route fairings.
Prop and spinner.
No secomd hand parts (except some instruments).

Plywood for Wing D box skin.
Wing Fabric
Wheel spats (optional)
Tailwheel (last item to buy as it assists in trimming W&B)
Instrument panel is removable. Plan was refit with MGLs as cheaper and much lighter.

No dreamers please, Thiis project needs 20ft of space to complete the wing (jigging for assembly takes a morning. I estimate £1500 on materials. Ribs could be on in a weekend.
Easily takes my 6ft frame (32” inside keg) frame incl helmet. If heavy very long in the leg it’s not for you.
