Summary
A fantastic opportunity to form an equity group based at the enormously popular Wellesbourne airfield. Utilising an Arrow II or IV, the whole of the UK is in easy reach, as are the more local airfields around the Midlands which host some tremendous events (e.g. Sleapkosh) and enjoy great facilities (e.g. Halfpenny Green).
Description
Being based locally to Wellesbourne I'm keen to establish a group based there.
I currently lease an Arrow IV and an Arrow II to flying schools but am preparing to take one of the a/c off lease and form an equity group around it instead (and I would be one of the shareholders).
Total group size to be determined but my experience is 6-8 works, and up to 10 might work once availability had stabilised for the first tranche of members.
Both aircraft benefit from being professionally used and and maintained since I purchased them in 2018. Both have been upgraded (bare metal resprays and interiors), avionics (Arrow IV) and engine and prop (Arrow II).
The Arrow II benefits from an overhauled engine (2026), prop and governor (also 2026), but I would suggest that once a group is formed a decision is taken to invest in a new avionics suite. This might suggest opening up the equity group to an additional 1 or 2 people to cover that initial outlay.
Keen to see if this group can be formed by the summer and to get flying.
