600kg Microlights - CAA Consultation - Here is your chance!
The CAA has opened a consultation effectively asking whether you support the opportunity to increase the maximum weight of microlight aircraft up to a limit of 600kg.
It is important to read the Consultation and if in agreement support the essence of the proposals answer the first option to questions 4 and 5, asked. They are:
4. Which option would you support the UK taking?
Answer: Opting out of the EASA basic regulation as described in this proposal and bringing the affected aircraft under national regulation.
5. If we pursue the proposal, under what category would you support us defining the aircraft?
Answer: Microlights
