Description
HM1000 Balerit for sale. This is a microlight version of the Mignet Flying Flea, MAUW 406kg. Rebuilt in 2023 and refurbished with new belts, bearings, tyres, instruments, LiFePo battery, screen. Permit to Fly valid to April 2027. 440 hours on Rotax 582, (65HP). Electric start (starter motor recently re-brushed), 40 litre fuel tank, 8.33KHz radio, Lynx intercom, GPS.
I've been flying this Balerit since 1992 and owned it since 2002. It's flown all over the place and I've had enormous fun. Finally poor health forces its sale.
Over the years I've collected a huge quantity of spares, including fairings, mudguards (and their mould tools), brakes, wheels, instruments, anti-vibration mounts, bearings for wheels and reduction drive and much else. There is also an additional 20 litre fuel tank, though this is not cleared for UK operations and would need a BMAA mod application for legal use. All spares are included in the price, but you may need a large truck.
The aeroplane comes with a complete set of drawings, both hard copy and scanned.
A trailer is included, recently refurbished with new tyres, winch and trailerboard. There is also a towbar provided to permit the aeroplane to be towed on its own wheels.
Located in North Hertfordshire. My licence has lapsed so although I can fly the Balerit, a second pilot for demonstration purposes would be P1, so must hold a valid microlight licence.
