Description
Savannah VG, all-metal STOL microlight. Built by the UK agents, Sandtoft Ultralights, as their demonstrator. First flew 2007. This was the first VG model in the UK.
Fresh permit just issued so in permit until June 2027.
538 hours on the Jabiru 2200 engine, a few less on the airframe.
Same owner for the last 13 years, only selling as moving to a 4 seater to take the kids flying. Always hangared. Well maintained and in good condition, ready for the flying season. Aircraft is based at Eshott in Northumberland.
Great fun to fly, very forgiving handling, no vices, and only burns about 12 litres of mogas per hour. This is the VG (vortex generator) model which has a faster cruise but retains the great STOL performance of the older classic model.
