Description

Unfortunately the time has come to stop flying, we are sadly being moved off our airfield in Harringe, Kent and a new job is making it harder and harder to fit in time for flying.

I'm selling pretty much everything you need to get yourself flying plus a crazy amount of spares, including a entire spare Quik airframe.

- Quik 582 SSDR aircraft (airframe 1330hrs, engine 330hrs)
- Quik wing in great condition, as SSDR has not had an official inspection but as you can see in the pictures it is fine. I am sure it will pass a BETTS test but sold as is. This has a lighter fabric when it was converted to SSDR so is not suitable for use on a regular Quik.
- Lots of spares as per the picture. (2 spare upright bars, 1 spare control bar, spare tyre, 2 rigging tools, Quik side paniers, spare touring screen, spat covers, Pegasus cockpit bag.
- Entire spare Quik airframe with wheels and some spare gauges (see picture with black Quik in rear of hangar)
- New, old stock replacement fuel pressure gauge that needs fitting. The previous owner disconnected the one in place.
- Recently refurbished trailer
- Wing bags x2 and aircraft cover
- Nearly complete set of spare Quik wing battens
- Micro Avionics GA100 integrated helmet
- Yaesu Pro-X radio

Aircraft is in great condition and runs amazingly as you can see in the video. Only issues I am aware of are.
- Whilst you can hear the radio fine, when you transmit there is a lot of interference. I have tried a number of things but not managed to get to the bottom of the issue yet.
- The choke cable has broken, you can still engage the choke by pulling on the cable but would be easier if it was replace. Was on the list as a ToDo for this year but sadly not going to get to it now.

Aircraft is based in Ashford, Kent and I am available most weekends and some evenings if anyone wants to come and take a look.
