MTO/S AUTOGYRO

Description

Here is my blue MTO/S autogyro for sale which I've owned for over the past 8 years and clocked up about 350 hrs on. I love her dearly for her windy weather capability and when she's sold, she will be sorely missed! Anyone who's flown an MTO/S will be aware of the exceptionally high wind velocity limitation of 45 mph detailed in the POH. Contrast that with the Pegasus Quik that I used to fly which had an 18 mph crosswind limitation!

The engine fitted to this aircraft is the original Rotax 912 ULS which starts and runs superbly. When I'm flying solo, I tend to cruise at just over 80 mph at 4150 rpm and a fuel burn of 16 lph. Compare this with the Quik that I used to fly, similar engine, which would cruise a the same speed for an engine rpm of 3800. So, a little more power required and a commensurate fuel penalty in this aircraft, for the same airspeed, but there were many days when I couldn't fly the Quik flexwing - not so this aircraft! A seriously capable flying machine!

ZM is fitted with a funke ATR833-II VHF Transceiver and a funke TRT800H-OLED Mode S Transponder.
