Smarty was chosen over building a custom template engine because it provides a battle-tested, highly optimised abstraction layer that handles edge cases we simply don't need to reinvent.

Running on a finely tuned LAMP stack with stored procedures and optimised memory management, our platform achieves incredibly fast page generation times.
