The TRAIL STANDARD KIT is an easy-to-built aircraft designed to be assembled mainly by one person.
All the parts arrived with pilot holes pre-drilled, and the assembly will not require any jig other than a flat table.
Our kit complies with the 51% rule for amateur build aircraft and is certified in the UK under the LAA.
The kit will be supplied with the following components:
- CNC-cut skins with pilot holes, pre-formed frames, and wing and tail ribs made out of aviation-grade 6061 T6 aluminium
- Welded parts are powder coated ready for installation
- The fuselage frame is welded and powder coated (colour grey or black)
- Wing spars completed and prepared for installation
- Two wing tanks, 50l each, ready for installation
- The main landing gear is made of single-piece 2024
aluminium and is ready for installation
- 6 inch rims and brakes with Tundra tires
- Tailwheel assy
- Plexiglass preformed windscreen
- Pre-cut Lexan side windows
- Standard configuration pre-cut instrument panel
- Folding wing system
- Manual flap
- Assembly and parts manuals
The aircraft is entirely customizable, with loads of options available, like bush wheels, ski, custom design instrument panels, and custom interiors are only one of the services.
A build-assist program and custom paint scheme design services are also available.
- The kit cost is £26500 + VAT, and shipping costs are excluded.
