Description

1/7 share for sale in GCCAV Ltd, a very well equipped 1980 built PA28-181 Archer II flying group based at Seawing Flying Club, EGMC Southend Airport in Essex.
We are a small, friendly flying group of pilots who regularly fly around the UK and to Europe, we use a very efficient online booking and bespoke online logbook system with excellent availability.
This plane is the sought after Archer II variant, she is fully IFR equipped, with a GNS 430 linked to two G5’s, a G430 comms panel, secondary comms, DME, an S-TEC 3 axis Autopilot, we have retained some of the legacy instrumentation, a fully functioning OBS and ADF, 4 x lifejackets and 4 x person raft.
The engine has been zero timed recently and is currently on 120hrs, the prop is on 120hrs, airframe 5717hrs, all rising with use.
Monthly rates are currently £200 for the group of 4 to cover the insurance, parking and annual maintenance costs, which will fall as more members join.
Our wet rate is £120 tacho/hr, as members of Seawing FC we enjoy a reduced fuel rate so approx. £25 per tacho is allocated to building a maintenance and improvement fund.
We also enjoy a reduced landing fee as a home based aircraft, despite EGMC being an international airport with all the facilities and advantages that come with it.
The group is set up as a limited company, so share ownership is legally binding with a well thought out set of group rules and we operate a GCCAV group joint bank account, monthly statements are shared with all members.
We ask for a minimum 100 flying hours to join the group, a check ride and training on type, if required, will be charged at the group wet rate + instructor costs.
She is currently insured for £120,000.00 and the cost of a 1/7th share is £15,000.00
