Summary
Complete Continental O470-R component lot suitable for zero-time engine build. Includes overhauled crankcase halves (P/N 539488/539489), crankshaft, conrods (P/N 40742), and six new Superior cylinder kits (SA47006S-A21P). Supplied with NDT documentation, FAA/EASA release forms, and EASA Form 1 certs for all auxiliary gears, drives, pushrods, and thru-bolts. Removed from C182G; inhibited since 2019.
Description
The following engine parts are for sale, all come with manufacturer approved NDT certificates and FAA/EASA engineering release forms.
All suitable for a zero time Continental O470R.
- Overhauled Crankcase - 2 halves, part numbers 539488 and 539489
- Overhauled Crankshaft with counterweights
- Overhauled Connecting rods part number 40742
- 6x BRAND NEW UNOPENED Superior Cylinder Kits (SA47006S-A21P)

All the following gears/drives/misc parts (and associated part numbers) with form 1’s and NDT certs: 2x engine mounting brackets pn 539518, 1x cam gear pn 535660, 1x gear oil pump drive pn 538609, 1x gear oil pump driven pn 539525, 12x pushrod pn 538304, 4x thru bolt 10.5” pn 630943, 2x thru bolt 8.8” pn 630943, 1x thru bolt 9.81” pn 641930, 7x thru bolt 10.75” pn 641931, 2x gear mag drive pn 629076, 1x gear idler pn 534757, 1x shaft idler pn 534728, 1x gear cam CSU drive pn 534655, 1x gear bevel CSU drive pn 538076, 6x inlet rocker pn 539742, 6x exhaust rocker pn 641682, 1x gear bevel tach drive pn 535008.
All parts removed from a C182G in 2017 and sent to the US for overhaul. All parts inhibited since 2019.
Ideal for someone wanting spare engine parts or to build one up ready for changing. O470R engines are currently unobtainium and there is a significant lead time (9 months plus) on crank cases being sent to Divco for overhaul.
Ideally want to sell all as a complete set.
